In the quarterfinals, held in St. George, the top-seeded St. Stephen Spartans clocked the 8th-seeded Sackville Tantramar Titans 90-55 as McLaughlin scored 23, Nicholson 14, Greenlaw 14, Watkins 12, Atkinson 9, Gowan 8, Richards 4, Estabrooks 4 and Sheehan 2. Larry Van Heunhousen led the Titans with 11. Bill Adams added 10, Sean Allen 8, Rick McKay 7, Barry Johnston 7, Jeff McAllister 5, Allan Atkinson 4 and Harold Bradeur 1, while Pauley was scoreless.

       The 7th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins defeated the 2nd-seeded Woodstock Thunder 83-77 as Martin scored 40, Mann 18, Lutes 11, Loveski 6, Moss 4, LeBlanc 2 and Gillis 2. Greg Betts paced the Thunder with 26. Wayne Shaw added 14, Kevin Craig 11, Colden Wetmore 10, Danny Lawson 9, Stephen Anderson 6 and Garry Beattie (Beatty?) 1, while Slipp, Terry Tray and Bell were scoreless.

       The 3rd-seeded Sussex Sonics clipped the 6th-seeded Lawrenceville-Bristol Carleton North Stars 60-47 as McGarrigle scored 20, maxwell 16, Wilson 12, Tabor 8, Gallant 2 and Folkins 2. John Black led the Stars with 16. Tim Merchant added 9, Perry Prosser 8, Mark Sipprell 6, Larry Henry 4, Keith Sipprell 2 and Warren Thompkins 2, while B Upton, J Upton and Stewart were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the 5th-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners defeated the 4th-seeded Riverview Royals 70-66 as Hooper scored 30, Clark 18, Spiers 16, Armstrong 2, Breau 2 and Taylor 2. Kevin Lewis led the Royals with 25. Brendan McShane added 12, Richard Morris 11, John McLaughlin 10 and Dave Wheaton 8, while Taylor was scoreless.

       In the semis, the 7th-seeded Campbellton Sugarload Bruins nipped the 3rd-seeded Sussex Sonics 63-60 as Martin scored 18, Mann 18, Lutes 13, Moss 4 and Gillis 2. McGarrigle led the Sonics with 23. Wilson added 15, Maxwell 14, Gallant 6 and Proctor 2.

       In the other semi, the top-seeded St. Stephen Spartans clubbed the 5th-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners 65-45 as Wilson scored 26, McLaughlin 14, Greenlaw 9, Nicholson 6, Gowan 6, Watkins 2 and Atkinson 2. Hooper led the Mariners with 26. Spires added 9, Taylor 6 and Clinch 4.

       In the bronze medal match, the 5th-seeded St. George Fundy Mariners nipped the 3rd-seeded Sussex Sonics 69-66 as Hooper scored 22, Spires 12, Breau 11, Clinch 8, Taylor 8, Armstrong 6 and Viennau 2. Steve Gallant led the Sonics with 19. Tim McGarrigle added 19, Steve Wilson 13, Mike Maxwell 11 and Kent Tabor 4. The Sonics also included Tony Folkins, Proctor.

       In the final, the top-seeded St. Stephen Spartans capped an undefeated (40-0) season by winning their fourth straight title by whipping the 7th-seeded Campbellton Sugarloaf Bruins 97-39. McLaughlin led the Spartans with 32. Greenlaw added 14, Nicholson 10, Gowan 10, Wilson 8, Atkinson 7, Estabrooks 6, Watkins 6, Doten 2 and Sheehan 2. Mann led the Bruins with 10. Jartin added 8, Lutes 8, Legere 4, Underhill 3, Gillis 2, Moss 2 and Haley 2.
