In the quarterfinals, held in Sackville, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers spanked the 8th-seeded Stanley Regional Blue Devils 58-42 ad Bannister scored 22, Surrette 16, Keith 13, Taylor 5 and McMackin 2. Jim Sparks scored 18 to lead the Blue Devils (coach Keith Gorman). Don Brewer added 8, Art Logan 8, Tim Dunphy 5 and Gerry Robbins 3, while Allison Fullerton, Darrell Turnbull and Gilbert King were scoreless.

       The 2nd-seeded Florenceville Falcons torched the 7th-seeded Harvey Regional Lakers 65-29 as Blackie scored 16, P McIsaac 14, McIntosh 12, Neilson 10, Veysey 4, Corey 4, Neilson 2, F McIsaac 2 and White 1. Stuart Little scored 20 to lead the Lakers 9coach John Kirk). Mike Corey added 4, Richard Davies 3, Hurley 3, Dan Hood 2, Gary Mclaughlin 2, Robert Fletcher 2, Bell 2 and Parker 1.

       The 4th-seeded McAdam Warriors spanked the 5th-seeded Boiestown Upper Miramichi Regional Boas 40-23 as Arsenault scored 13, Swift 8, Brennan 7, Johnson 6, Breneol 4 and Leach 2. Neil Calhoun scored 14 to lead the Boas (coach Everett Shannon). Rick Reid added 5, Wade Davis 2 and Blair Hovey 2, while MacKay, O’Donnell, Larry Calhoun, Brian McCluskey; Farley, Mel Hunter and Willard Ross were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Thunder throttled the 6th-seeded Campobello Island Consolidated Vikings 60-16 as Wilson scored 13, Wetmore 12, Donovan 11, Mclean 8, McManus 4, Flewelling 2, Winfield 2, Graham 2, Young 2 and Briggs 1. Brian Fletch scored 6 to lead the Vikings (coach Dave Fleiger). Blake Mitchell added 5, Peter Mabey 2, Lank 2 and Gord Matthews 1, while James Matthews, Bill Jackson, Brown, Anthony, Donald Fletcher, M Matthews and Lahey were scoreless.

       In the semis, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers dusted the 4th-seeded McAdam Warriors 50-29 as Keith scored 18, Surrett 10, Mackin 8, Taylor 7 and Bannister 7. Brennan led the Warriors with 10. Arsenault added 10, Breneol 5, Johnson 2 and Leech 2.

       In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Florenceville Falcons dispatched the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Thunder 43-5 as Blackie scored 15, Veysey 13, McIsaac 7, Neilson 5 and McIntosh 3. Wilson led the Thunder with 14. McLean added 7, Donovan 6, Wetmore 4, Graham 3 and Flewelling 1.

       In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded McAdam Warriors clipped the 3rd-seeded Woodstock Thunder 59-51 as Brennan scored 23, Arsenault 23, Breneol 6, Roberts 3, Johnson 2 and Swift 2. Richard Wetmore led the Thunder with 12. Brent Wilson added 12, Robin McLean 8, Art Donovan 4, Jeff Gray 4, Mike Young 4 and Jim Graham 3, while McManus, Mike Flewelling, Winfield, Briggs and Tenhave were scoreless.

In the final, the top-seeded Petitcodiac Regional Panthers defeated the 2nd-seeded Florenceville Falcons 45-37 as Bannister scored 14, Keith 10, Surrett 10, MacMackin 7 and Taylor 4. Blackie led the Falcons with 16. P McIssac added 8, L Neilson 6 and Veysey 4, while three points were unallocated.
