In the quarterfinals, held in Bathurst, the Centreville Regional Cougars spanked the Stanley Regional Blue Devils 80-64 as Prosser scored 29, Price 21, T Drake 20, L Drake 7 and Longstaff 2. Pat O’Hara led the Blue Devils with 19. Don Barclay added 17, Joe Ryan 11, Hepburn 7, Wilfred Ryan 6 and D Harley 4, while Samson, Johns, Dunphy, Redpath and McKinnon were scoreless.

       Bathurst LeBlanc torched Dorchester 70-48 as L LaRocque scored 20, Benoit 20, Brideau 1, Kennah 8, MacKsy 3, R Doucet 2, Godin 2 and G Doucet 2. Mike Gillespie paced Dorchester with 15. Mills added 8, Lennigan 8, Burt LeBlanc 6, Brian LeBlanc 3 and Buck 1, while Crossman, Pill and Bucker were scoreless.

       The Bath Regional Fighting Bees dusted the Dalhousie Condors 73-47 as Masell scored 24, B Hargrove 19, B Dingle 9, G Hargrove 8, R McQuade 3, McInnis 3, T McQuade 2 and Higgins 2. Crawford led the Condors with 29. Wilbur added 5, Arseanult 5, Flann 3, Carter 2, Fleiger 2 and Parent 1, while MacDonald, Hickey, Frees, Beckingham and Marshall were scoreless.

       In the last quarterfinal, the McAdam Warriors nipped the Petitcodiac Regional Panthers 69-67 as Lindsay scored 24, Coburn 23 and L Leach 12. Gary Barbour led the Panthers with 23. Steeves added 17, Rod Pollock 17, Curtis McAuley 4, L Bannister 4 and Eastwick 2, while Flanders, R Keith, D Keith, Geldart, G Bannister and Robinson were scoreless.

       In the semis, Bathurst LeBlanc nipped the Centreville Cougars 56-55 as Benoit scored 18.

       In the other semi, the Bath Regional Fighting Bees edged the McAdam Warriors 52-49.

       In the bronze medal match, the McAdam Warriors defeated the Centreville Regional Cougars 80-71 as Lindsay scored 44 and Coburn 21. Harry (Terry?) Drake led the Cougars with 25. John Price added 16 and Stephen Longstaff 13, while Wayne Prosser, L Drake, Thomas, Williams, Shaw, Piper, P Watson and C McAffee were scoreless.

In the final, Bathurst Leblanc repeated as champs with a 42-36 home court win over Bath as Benoit scored 17, LaRocque 13, Kennah 7, McKay 3 and Arseneau 2. Marshall led the Fighting Bees with 17. G Hargrove added 6, B Hargrove 6, T McQuade 4 and Dingee 3.
