In the quarterfinal, held in Andover, the Hartland Huskies edged the Perth-Andover Southern Victoria Vikings 49-44 as Nicholson scored 23, Montgomery 11, Robinson 9, Cattelle 4 and W Perkins 2. Don DeMerchant paced the Vikings with 17. Robert Titus added 17, Dyer 6, Barr 2 and Clark 2, while L Titus, R DeMerchant, Hammond, Tucker Boone, Moorem and Young were scoreless.

       The Port Elgin Pirates edged the Rothesay Regional Red Hawks 38-36 as Stright scored 16, Peacock 9, O’Hanley 6, Trenholm 5 and Chapman 2. Ellis Britten led the Red Hawks with 16. Moore added 6, Dickens 4, Crowe 4, McGuire 4 and Stenhouse 2, while MacDougall and Hutchison were scoreless.

       The Stanley Regional Blue Devils dispatched the McAdam Warriors 36-31 as H Sellick scored 15, Smith 12, MacFarlane 4, Thomas 3 and M Sellick 2. Thorburn led the Warriors with 12. Marsters added 7, Armstrong 5, Storr 4 and Norman 3, while Hanson, Thomas, Little, Feeney and Pheeney were scoreless,

       In the last quarterfinal, the Dalhousie Condors edged the Bath Community Bees 60-57 as Mackenzie scored 26, Caldwell 8, Lewis 7, McEwen 5, Greening 4 and Thorburn 4. Dalhousie was awarded three buckets on basket interference by Bath. The points were not credited to players. Green led the Bees with 24. Tompkins added 21, Nixon 8 and Brown 4, while Wry, Doherty and Patterson were scoreless.

       In the semis, the Hartland Huskies mauled the Port Elgin Pirates 60-38 as Nicholson scored 25, Montgomery 23, Cattelle 5 and W Perkins 6. Stright led the Pirates with 14. O’Hanley added 12, Jones 10 and Fury 2.

       In the other semi, the Dalhousie Condors clubbed the Stanley Blue Devils 54-23 as MacKenzie scored 18, Caldwell 11, Thorburn 8, Stanton 5, Lewis 4, McEwen 4 and Davis 4. Thomas led the Blue Devils with 9. Clarkson added 4, Smith 4, M Sellick 4 and H Sellick 2.

In the final, the Hartland Huskies stomped the undefeated Dalhousie High Condors x-x. Hartland got off to a quick start and romped. Nicholson scored 29 for Hartland. Montgomery added 14, W Perkins 10, Cattelle 2 and Robinson 2. MacKenzie and Colwell each had 16 for Dalhousie. Lewis added 5, McEwan 4, Greeening 4, Barron 2 and Thornburn 2. The Condors had won 19 straight.

       The all-tournament team featured MVP Bud Green (Bath); Bob Montgomery (Hartland); Don Nicholson (Hartland); Ellis Britten (Rothesay Regional); Gary McKenzie (Dalhousie); and Kent Tompkins (Bath).

       After the season, the province was divided into eight zones and the schools reclassified into either M or L depending on enrolment. The regional class of schools was eliminated.
