In the interzone playoffs, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders dusted the Fisher Branch Cougars 52-35.

In the quarterfinals, held in Wawanesa, the top-seeded Elm Creek Cobras crushed the 8th-seeded Wawanesa Warriors 82-20. Candice Froese was chosen player of the game for the Cobras, while Alana Downey earned the laurels for the Warriors (coached by Kirby Stone).

        The 4th-seeded Treherne Tigers nipped the 5th-seeded Grandview Spartans 47-46. Rebecca Early was chosen player of the game for the Tigers, while Easton Gryba earned the laurels for the Spartans. The Spartans (coached by Marc Giasson and Stewart McKenzie) also included Tamber Komar, Nicole Bohdanovich, Danielle Deslauriers, Amy He, Shaelyn Stienwandt, Tambor Komar, Mikayla Mischuk, Kaitlyn Kotyk, Aisling Staunton, Danielle Van Wynsberghe, Courtney McIntyre, Jessica Melnychenko, Carla Butt and Marlize Fourie.

        The 2nd-seeded Hamiota Huskies clubbed the 7th-seeded Wabowden Mel Johnson Eagles 68-23. Janice Maitland was chosen player of the game for the Huskies, while Courtney Settee earned the laurels for the Eagles (coached by Rachel Wright).

        In the last quarterfinal, the 3rd-seeded Gilbert Plains Trojans dusted the 6th-seeded Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders 65-38. Shelby Dykun was chosen player of the game for the Trojans, while Tyla Sylvestre earned the laurels for the Raiders (coached by Darryl Pederson and Ainsley Pederson).

        In the semis, the top-seeded Elm Creek Cobras edged the 4th-seeded Treherne Tigers 45-39. Jenny Schmidt was chosen player of the game for the Cobras, while Nicole Knockae earned the laurels for the Tigers.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Hamiota Huskies nipped the 3rd-seeded Gilbert Plains Trojans 61-58. Kailin Robinson was chosen player of the game for the Huskies, while Kalie Apostle earned the laurels for the Trojans.

        In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Treherne Tigers defeated the 3rd-seeded Gilbert Plains Trojans 59-51. Brooke Drummond was chosen player of the game for the Tigers, while Jennifer Wiebe earned the laurels for the Trojans. The Trojans (coached by Andrea Puchailo and Jody Smelski-Jubenvill) also included Shelby Dykun, Madison Dykun, Tami Cholka, Brittany Chetyrbok, Tia Ilnisky, Alyson Jubenvill, Rachel Murray, Alyssa Brinkman, Hunter Buchanan and Kalie Apostle.

        In the final, the top-seeded Elm Creek Cobras defeated the 2nd-seeded Hamiota Huskies 62-54 to capture the school’s first provincial title. “It feels great,” said tournament MVP Carley Schmidt. “We weren’t overconfident but we felt pretty confident because we had played a lot of the teams there and had beaten them during the season. It’s was good to finish [high school basketball] with the championship.” Cobras coach James Ballantyne was proud of his team’s effort and performance. “We wanted to make sure we made the final and they knew what they needed to do. Every year we’ve been getting closer. And we knew we were capable if we just played our game.”
