In the quarterfinals, held in Hamiota, the Pilot Pound Pilots stomped Split Lake Sam Cook Screaming Eagles 75-18.
The 2nd-seeded Treherne Tigers dusted the 7th-seeded Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders 62-34. The Raiders included Christine Faskarti, Shannon Hebel.
The Hamiota Huskies dispatched the St. Laurent Hawks 54-43. The Hawks included Vicki Lambert, Danelle Ducharme, Shannon Allard.
In the last quarterfinal, the Boissevain Broncos defeated the Grandview Spartans 50-34. The Spartans (coached by Brant Neufeld) included Melissa Cox, Rhonda Furkalo, Keri Brasch, Diane Clark, Jonie Slobozian, Jill Powell, Darmen Andruschak, Andrea Lang.
In the semis, the Pilot Mound Pilots dumped the Hamiota Huskies 66-57.
In the other semi, the Boissevain Broncos nipped the 2nd-seeded Treherne Tigers 50-49.
In the bronze medal match, the 2nd-seeded Treherne Tigers dusted the Hamiota Huskies 57-43. he Hamiota team is very young with only one player, Kerry Maynes, in Senior 4 (grade 12), and Lisa Brown and Wendy King in Senior 3. The roster also includes Senior 2 students; Kristen Carter, Erin Charlton, Audrey Lints, Kaili Dale, and Brittney Cochrane, along with Jennifer McConnell, Leanne Gregory, and Mardie Cormack in Senior I. The coaching staff consists of Lorna Robertson and Myra Gregory.
In the final, the Pilot Mound Pilots nipped the Boissevain Broncos 57-55.
