In the quarterfinals, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders again defeated the Lynn Lake West Lynn Heights North Stars 55-18 as Penny Hovorka scored 18, Wendy Thunder 13, Wendy Czechmeister 12 and Lyn Blackburde 12. The North Stars included Tina Drolet.

The Elie St. Paul’s Barons edged the Arborg Athletics 22-17. The Athletics included Leanne Stanowski, Laureen Martin.

The Treherne Tigers whipped the Ste. Rose Celtics 63-41. The Celtics included Aline Guilas, Colette Delaurier, Shelly Lepla.

In the last quarterfinal, the Hartney Hornets stomped the Pilot Mount Pilots 73-36. The Pilots included Ruth Luney.

        In the semis, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders dumped the Elie St. Paul’s Barons 49-22 as Lyn Blackburde scored 26 and Wendy Czechmeister 21.

In the other semi, the Treherne Tigers defeated the Hartney Hornets 62-55.

In the bronze medal match, the Hartney Hornets defeated the Elie St. Paul’s Barons 51-41.

        In the final, the Sprague Ross L. Gray Raiders defeated the Treherne Tigers 60-45. The Tigers led 17-10 after one quarter. The score was knotted at 28 at the half. The Raiders led 41-37 after three quarters. Lynn Blackburde paced the Raiders with 35. Wendy Czechmeister added 14 and Penny Hovorka 8. Linda Crocker led the Tigerettes with 20.
