        The Boissevain Broncos nipped the Shilo Panthers 47-45 as Kerry Mitchell scored 15, Dan Morrow 14 and Neil McCausland 11. Max Bretzke paced the Panthers with 27.

        The St. Boniface Diocesan Centurions dispatched the Treherne Tigers x-x.

        In the last quarterfinal, the top-seeded Winnipegosis Bombers stuffed the Elie St. Paul’s Barons 57-54 as Mike Namaka scored 18. Blake Syrenne led the Barons with 18. Jamie Toews added 14.

In the semis, the Steinbach Christian (then known as Steinbach Bible Institute) Flames defeated the Boissevain Broncos 55-42 as Conrad Dueck and Reg Kornelson each scored 17.

In the other semi, the St. Boniface Diocesan Centurions defeated the top-seeded Winnipegosis Bombers 56-48.

In the bronze medal match, the Winnipegosis Bombers dumped the Boissevain Broncos 59-52. The Broncos included Kerry Mitchell, Al McCausland, Mike Diehl, James Warnez, Brant Ransom.

In the final, the Steinbach Bible Institute Flames defeated the St. Boniface Diocesan Centurions 61-52 as Conrad Dueck scored 29 on 11-12 from the floor and 9-13 from the line. Flames coach Ken Quiring said the score was deceptive because the Flames were able to build a bigger margin down the stretch as the Centurions kept fouling to stay in the game. Although outsized, “our little guys were taking it away from their big guys,” Quiring added. Mark Morton led the Centurions with 18. Chris Helgason added 15.
