        The Winnipeg Westgate Mennonite Wings crushed Ste. Rose du Lac Celtics 87-63 as Adrian Lee scored 22. Dennis Lecompte paced the Celtics with 24. The Celtics (coached by Ron Bodie) also included Leonard Weigelt.

        In the other semi, the Winnipeg Westgate Mennonite Wings defeated the Pilot Mound Pilots 98-64 as John Fast scored 24. Jim Smith paced the Pilots with 24.

        In the bronze medal match, the Gretna Mennonite Collegiate Institute Blues clipped the Pilot Mount Pilots 78-67 as Doug Loeppky scored 28 and Gordon Friesen 20. Tim McKitrick paced the Pilots with 31. Jim Smith added 15.

        In the final, the Steinbach Christian (then Steinbach Bible Institute) Flames defeated the Winnipeg Westgate Mennonite Wings 52-50 as tournament MVP Rod Thiessen tossed in 22, including a pair of free throws with four seconds to play. Brother Al Thiessen added 19. Adrian Lee led Westgate with 13. John Fast added 12. Westgate led 31-25 at the half. The Flames led 41-39 after three quarters. The teams traded the lead in the fourth. Friesen was fouled on a layup and sank both free throws to pull out the win.
