In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded Niverville Panthers defeated Lynn Lake West Lynn Heights North Stars 88-31 as Dan Bergen scored 41, while Henry Klassen ripped down 12 boards.

The Glenboro Panthers clipped the Shoal Lake Sharks 60-49. The Sharks included Danny Szwaluk, James Simpson, Garth Short, Wayne Chegwin, Daryl McCharles, Kelvin McLeod, Gordon Kowalchuk, Brad Rookes, Brad McCharles, Grant McLennan.

The Gilbert Plains Trojans nipped the Eriksdale Eagles 46-42.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Niverville Panthers defeated the Glenboro Panthers 70-41 after leading 33-26 at the half. Dan Bergen paced Niverville with 26. Gary Schapansky added 23 points and 18 boards. Paul Duerksen nabbed 16 boards.

        In the other semi, the Winnipeg St. John’s Ravenscourt Eagles defeated the Gilbert Plains Trojans x-x.

        In the bronze medal match, the Glenboro Panthers clipped the Gilbert Plains Trojans 48-40. The Trojans included Brian Romanik, Vern Ellis.

        In the final, the top-seeded Niverville Panthers dumped the Winnipeg St. John’s Ravenscourt Eagles 65-56. The Panthers trailed by three at the half in the nip and tuck battle but took command with three minutes to play. Dan Bergen paced the Panthers with 25 points and 21 boards. Gary Schapansky added 15 points and 21 boards. Henry Klassen scored 14.
