In the quarterfinals, the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings dumped the Steinbach Sabres 87-3 as Vailla Hoggan and Judy Chapman each scored 20. Lynnette Hooke added 14. The Vikings led 42-1 at the half. The Sabres (coached by Miss Goossen) included Marlene Giesbrecht, Pearl Joyce, Betty Doan, Donna Fast, Louise Laign, Judith Whitehead, Johanna Reimer, Helen Hornan, Sandra Kliewer, Dawn Barkman, Loris Loewen and Luella Strauss.

The Winnipeg Vincent Massey Trojans crushed the Winnipeg West Kildonan Weskies 34-12 as Barbara Waugh scored 11 and Carol Bateman 6. Maureen Tees paced the Weskies with 7. The Weskies (coached by Mrs. G Holowka) also included Roberta Chamberlain, Diane Zinik.

The Winnipeg Tec Voc Hornets clipped the Rivers Rams 25-18 as Jean Wood scored 12 and Dianna Boyle 8. Lorna Forman paced the Rams with 7. Laurel Hunter added 7. The Rams also included Margaret Harris, Ruth Fredericks, Helga Szotowski.

In the last quarterfinal, the Hamiota Huskies whipped the Grandview Bobbets 35-5 after leading 10-5 at the half. Lynda Kidd paced the Huskies with 25. Joy Lawson led the Bobbets with 3.

        In the semis, the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings rallied from a seven-point second half deficit to force overtime against the previously undefeated Winnipeg Vincent Massey Trojans. Judy Chapman hit the only field goal in the extra session as the Vikings prevailed 31-29, their only lead of the game. Chapman finished with 14, while Vailla Hoggan added 10. The Trojans had led 18-13 at the half. Barbara Waugh paced the Trojans with 7. Mona Waugh added 6 and Linda Jijian 6. Barbara Waugh and Jijian dominated the boards as the Trojans built an 18-13 lead at the half.

In the other semi, the Hamiota Huskies edged the Winnipeg Tec Voc Hornets 21-16 as Lynda Kidd scored 10 and Shirley Pedlow 5. Jean Wood led the Hornets with 7. Dianna Boyle added 6. The Huskies led 12-11 at the half.

        In the final, the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings crushed the Hamiota Huskies 36-15. The Vikings leapt ahead 10-1 after a quarter; 14-7 at the half; and 26-7 at the three-quarter mark as it thrashed Hamiota 36-15. Judy Chapman scored 11, Linda Magee 10, Lynnette 6 and Terry Moore 5 for the Vikings. Lynda Kidd led the Huskies with 8.  The Vikings led 10-1, 14-7 and 26-11 at the quarters.
