Janice Bradley paced the Clippers with 6. Donna Williams led the Pats with 9. The Pats (coached by Roger Rowley) also included Joan Wilson, Linda Fairfield, Penny Kains, Denyse Muir, Aldyne Prior, Lynne Muir, Ruby Slaus, Joyce King, Dorothy Prior and Jennifer Gibson.
The Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions dusted the Morris Red Hawks 35-4 as Grace Malyk scored 9 and Joyce Hawn 9. Ruth Jahnke scored all 4 for the Red Hawks.
The Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens stomped the Hamiota Huskies 54-8 as Jackie Masson scored 11 and Myrna Burgess 10. Laurie Cumming led the Huskies with 4. In the last quarterfinal, the Winnipeg Tec Voc Hornets stomped the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings 63-13 as Eleanor Schultz scored 21, Hazel Martin 15 and Helen Wasiluk 10. Gloria Bullied led the Vikings with 7. Donna Ingle added 6. The Vikings (then the Brandon Collegiate Blues) also included Doreen Horne, Grace Evans, Myrna Dietrich, Jay Anger, Anne Bullied.
In the semis, the Flin Flop Hapnot Kopper Kweens whipped the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions 44-24 after leading 24-10 at the half. Martha McKenzie paced the Kopper Kweens with 15. Claudine Perras added 7. Eleanor Hawn led the Lions with 14. Lois Kelly added 6.
In the other semi, the Winnipeg Tec Voc Hornets pounded the Dauphin Clippers 47-22 after leading 27-8 at the half. Gail Dixon paced the Hornets with 17. Eleanor Schultz added 12. Emily Marcinshyn led the Clippers with 9. Irene Atwood added 9.
In the final, the Winnipeg Tec Voc Hornets defeated the Flin Flon Kopper Kweens 44-41. The Kweens had drawn with one down the stretch but Hazel Martin iced the win for the Hornets with a pair of free throws with two minutes to play. Eleanor Schultz paced the Hornets with 15, while dominating the boards. Hazel Martin added 10, Gail Dixon 9 and Helen Wasiluk 7. The Hornets led 22-18 at the half. Jackie Masson led the Kopper Kweens with 13. Martha McKenzie added 10 and Claudette Perras 10.
