        In the quarterfinals, the Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens dusted the Winnipeg United College (affiliated with the U of Manitoba) Bisonettes 49-8 as Enid Simm scored 10, Angie Kyba 8, Doreen Nomeland 5, Eleanor Kepper 5, Enolda Hampson 4, Norma Duncan 4 and Betty Nisbet 4, while Ivale Constable, Emily Bogash, Germain Floch and Joan Ross were scoreless. Evans paced the Bisonettes with 3. Wilson added 2, Wood 2 and Bilyk 1, while McDonald, English, Herrebout, Wolfe and McMarran were scoreless. The Bisonnettes also included Muir.

        The Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings (then the Brandon Collegiate Wheat Queens) dispatched the Neepawa Tigers 15-7 as Janice Gusdal scored 6. Mitchell added 3, Evans 2, Meyers 2 and Jasson 2, while Curlock, Rita Slevin, Roberts and MacKay were scoreless. Louise McKee led the Tigers with 6. Slobodian added 1, while English, Kjalgaard, Kilburn, Adamson and Briese were scoreless.

        The Winnipeg St. John’s Tech Tigers whipped the Dauphin Clippers 38-11 as June Kozak scored 20, Norma Waslyk 4, June Hoski 4, Nancy Hnatyshyn 2, Naomi Rubenfield 3, Eileen Lobeck 2, Marilyn Lebitko 2 and Annette Kaiman 2, while Phyllis Chorney, Arlene Rosenblatt, Marlene Gershman, Ann Marie Michalison and Wanda Kulczycki were scoreless. Hunt led the Clippers with 5. Ivella Barr added 4, Anderson 1 and Merrell 1, while Burr, Chute, Clyde, Curle, Kazinoski, Ruth Korney, Morrison and Wright were scoreless. The Clippers also included Rzemaki, Nicholson.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions edged the Winnipeg Tec Voc Hornets 17-12 as Muriel Davidson scored 10, Janice Berry 3, Doris Astley 3 and Maxine Dixon 1, while Canfield, Steenson, Werbicki, Oddliefson, Thomson and Bjarnson were scoreless. Joan Cox led the Hornets with 7. Violet Pollock added 3, Shirley Macdonald 1 and Beverley Harris 1, while Gladys Schutz, Irene Morris, Millie Moore, Dorothy Robson, Helen Luckiw and Betty Szaba were scoreless. The Hornets (coached by Miss A Jones) also included Pauline Trojan, Beth Yates, Elsie Skibitsky and Carol Simmons.

        In the semis, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions clipped the Winnipeg St. John’s Tech Tigers 24-16 as Muriel Davidson scored 7, Maxine Dixon 6, Dorie Astley 4, Berry 4, Werbicki 4, while Canfield, Steenson, Thompson, Bjarnason and Oddleifson were scoreless. Norma Waslyk led the Tigers with 5.         In the other semi, the Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens dispatched the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings 22-14 as Valda Porter scored 11, Eleanor Kepper 3, Enid Simm 2, Angie Kyba 2, Doreen Nomeland 2, Norma Duncan 1 and Germain Floch 1, while Joan Ross, Betty Nisbet, Emily Bogash, Ivale Constable and Enolda Hampson were scoreless. In the final, the Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens defeated the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions 34-19 after leading 15-9 at the half. Valda Porter, Eleanor Kepper and Norma Duncan each scored 9 to pace the Kopper Kweens; Angie Kyba added 3, Emily Bogash 2 and Enid Simm 2, while Doreen Nomeland, Ivale Constable and Enolda Hampson were scoreless. Muriel Davidson led the Lions with 9. Dorie Astley added 3, Berry 2, Dixon 2, Oddleifson 2 and Canfield 1, while Werbicki, Steenson, Thomson and Bjarnson were scoreless.
