In the quarterfinals, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions whipped the Portage la Prairie Pats 75-12 as Richard Smith scored 15 and Ron Sandstrom 11.

        The Winnipeg St. Paul’s Crusaders clocked the Pine Falls Paper Kings 63-31 as John Antoniuk scored 18 and Frank Cvitkovich 17. Don Macdonald led the Paper Kings with 13. Tom McCullough added 11. The Paper Kings also included Seguin.

        The Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings (then the Brandon Collegiate Blues) thrashed the Dauphin Clippers 71-38 as Morris Kooting scored 16 and Murray McIntosh 11. The Clippers included Dave Bates, Stan Konopski, Lad Hutchison, Bob Snodgrass, Con Artibise, Ron Boyachuk, Bob Reich, Ron Booth, Bob Hunt, Orville Heschuk, Ken Blowett, Alex Robertson, Jerry Beech and Ed Smendzick.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Winnipeg Daniel McIntyre Maroons smacked the Morris Red Hawks 66-26 as Ed Laschuk scored 18. The Red Hawks included John Johnson.

        In the semis, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions whipped the Winnipeg St. Paul’s Crusaders 62-40 as Ron Sandstrom scored 22 and Ken Regier 16. John Antoniuk led the Crusaders with 13. Mansur Johns added 9.

        In the other semi, the Winnipeg Daniel McIntyre Maroons clipped the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings 54-29 as Ron Berry scored 11 and Cy Hoarnes 9. Barry Orr led the Vikings with 7. Morris Kooting added 6.

In the final, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions dispatched the Winnipeg Daniel McIntyre Maroons 46-33 as Jack Dunn scored 18, Ron Sandstrom 14 and Ken Regier 8. Bill McBride led the Maroons with 11. Ed Laschuk added 9 and Harvey 9.
