        In the quarterfinals, the Pine Falls Paper Kings edged the Winnipeg St. Paul’s Crusaders 28-27 as D Macdonald scored 12, Seguin 6, Legall 5 and Hutchison 5, while Bayley, Romano, McCulloch, Hills and Cyr were scoreless. John Antoniuk paced the Crusaders with 9. Cy Hoorne added 7, Frank Cvitkovich 3, Bohonos 2, Barrie Bell 2, Pete Yauk 2 and Potvin 2, while George Phillips, Verblung and Deegan were scoreless. The Crusaders (coached by Father Laurence Voisin) also included Lotoski, Mondry, Bill Morrisson.

        The Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions pounded the Neepawa Tigers 69-10 as Bruce Stouffer scored 19, Ron Sandstrom 14, Ron Hogue 14, Trevor Fraser 11, Doug McKenzie 4, Bert Lamoureaux 3, Alex Morrison 2 and Ken Gee 2, while Wayne Johnston was scoreless. Len Cleland led the Tigers with 4. Jeffrey added 2, Dunbar 2, Page 1 and David Rooke 1, while Wayne Sparling, Bolton and Dunsmore were scoreless.

        The Winnipeg Gordon Bell Panthers dusted the Dauphin Clippers 56-10 as Dave Smith scored 16, Albin Urbonas 7, Norm Channing 7, Gerry Peterson 6, Pat Coinner 4, George Moore 2 and Jim Walker 2, while Jack Tate, Ruth Bodley, Terry Rooke and Champ Russenholt were scoreless. Matt Kawchuk led the Clippers with 5. Ron McMurray added 5, David Bates 2, Dave Oliphant 2, Jim Thomlinson 2, Mickey Stoketelny 2 and Hal Blaine 1, while Tad Hutchison, Jim Puchalski and Bob Reich were scoreless. The Clippers also include Bob Kokel.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings (then the Brandon Collegiate Wheat Kings) clocked the Morris Red Hawks 43-21 as Don Hunter scored 14, Orr 6, Ian McLennan 6, Quinn 5, Czeck 5, Dechka 3, Scott 2 and Kaczmar 2, while Williamson was scoreless. John Johnston led the Red Hawks with 8. Jaster added 4, Lesperance 4, Jorgenson 2, Shaw 2 and Derksen 1, while Bartlette and Rempel were scoreless. The Red Hawks also included Hoffman.

In the semis, the Winnipeg Gordon Bell Panthers dumped the Pine Falls Paper Kings 25-17 as Gerry Peterson scored 7, Albin Urbonas 4, Pat Coinner 4, Dave Smith 3, Norm Channing 3, Jim Walker 2 and Ruth Bodley 2, while George Moore, Jack Tate, Terry Rooke, Champ Russenholt, G Walker and Czaja were scoreless. McDonald led the Paper Kings with 6. Hutchison added 4, Legall 3, Bayley 2 and Seguin 2, while Romano, McCulloch, Hills and Cyr were scoreless.

In the other semi, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions clocked the Brandon Vincent Massey Vikings 51-21 as Ron Sandstrom scored 12, Bruce Stouffer 11, Trevor Fraser 10, Ron Hogue 8, Doug McKenzie 6, Bert Lamoureaux 2 and Alex Morrison 2, while Wayne Johnston, Jack Dunn and Ken Gee were scoreless. In the final, the Winnipeg Glenlawn Lions whipped the Winnipeg Gordon Bell Panthers 51-19 as Bruce Stouffer scored 16, Ron Sandstrom 14, Ron Hogue 8, Doug McKenzie 6, Trevor Fraser 4, Bert Lamoureaux 2 and Wayne Johnston 1, while Alex Morrison, Jack Dunn and Ken Gee were scoreless. Gerry Peterson led the Panthers with 7.
