In game one, the Crusaders edged St. John’s 21-20 after leading 15-3 at the half. Albert Commer led the Crusaders with 10. Bill Dunwoody added 4, Lloyd Swick 3, Ray Daniels 3 and Alex Macrae 1, while Jack Mazo, Katernovich, Bert Nemerosky, Willard Moore, Sam Potter and Rudolph Anderson were scoreless.
In game two, the Crusaders prevailed 27-21 as Albert Commer scored 12, Lloyd Swick 6, Alex Macrae 4, Ray Daniels 3 and Bill Dunwoody 2, while Frank Burke-Gaffney, Marcel Beaudoin and Bill Adams were scoreless.
