In the quarterfinals, the Roblin Goose Lake Angels defeated the Teulon Saints 54-46. The Saints led 15-12 early but the Angels began to take command of the paint and eventually pulled out the win with a four-corner stall. Evelyn Ostrowski paced the Angels with 18 points and 18 boards. Debbie Andres added 16, along with 10 boards, Pat Piwniuk 10, along with 18 boards, Marg Liske 8 and Sharon Radwanski 2. The Saints (coached by Lyal Eyolfson) included Janice Carter, Darlene Senick, Donna McMahon, Noreen Campbell, Laurie Campbell.
The Killarney Raiders defeated the Winnipeg St. Mary’s Academy Blue Devils (later the Flames) 60-44 as Diane Kuipers scored 20 and Shawna Arnott 16. The Flames (coached by Jim Komeeishon and Doug Spiers) included Eileen Grant, Kathy Mahon.

In the semis, the Roblin Goose Lake Angels defeated Winnipeg Westgate Mennonite Knights (the ‘C’ division champs) 52-40 as Evelyn Ostrowski scored 18, while nabbing 24 boards, Deb Andres 19, Marg Liske 6, Pat Piwniuk 4 and Sharon Radwanski 3. Heather Dyck hit just 14 for Westgate after being tightly defended by Marg Liske. Heidi Neufeld added 12. The Angels again took a lead and went immediately to a four-corner stall.
In the other semi, the Killarney Raiders defeated the Selkirk Lord Selkirk Regional Royals 50-44 as Diane Kuipers and Candace Young each scored 12 points. The Royals (coached by Bruce McLaren)

In the final, the Roblin Goose Lake Angels defeated the top-seeded Killarney Raiders 55-35. Deb Andres led the Angels with 25 points. Evelyn Ostrowski added 15, along with 23 boards, Pat Piwniuk 9, Marg Liske 4 and Sharon Radwanski 2. Karen Johnson and Adrienne Sawatsky paced Killarney with 8 points apiece. The Angels led 15-10, 35-26 and 48-31 at the quarters and stalled their way to victory.
