In the quarterfinals, the St. Norbert Celtics dumped the Winnipeg Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Hawks 39-30. The Celtics led 5-4 after one quarter and 17-12 at the half. The Hawks led 24-22 after three quarters.

        The Flin Flon Hapnot Kopper Kweens dumped the Carman Cougarettes 34-22 and Janice Brown scored 8, Kari Mann 7 and Alicia Maluta 5. Peggy Hill led the Cougars with 12. The Cougarettes also included Shirley Dracass, Liz Barron.

        The Minitonas Broncettes edged the Boissevain Broncos 37-35 as Bernice Hart scored 11. The Broncettes led 15-14 at the half. E Wall paced the Broncos with 24.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Brandon Harrison Hawks dusted the Gimli Lakers 55-19 as Valerie Rollins scored 28, Brenda Earl 14 and Regina Fleming 6. Lena Skiba led the Lakers with 7. The Lakers also included Val Peterson.

        In the semis, the Brandon Harrison Hawks dispatched the St. Norbert Celtics 42-28. The Hawks led 14-6 at the half and quickly took command in the second frame.

        In the other semi, the Minitonas Broncettes defeated the Flin Flon Kopper Kweens 36-31. The Kweens rallied with 32-31 with two minutes to play on a pair of free throws by Alicia Maluta. But Bernice Hart hit two layups in the final minute to pull out the win for the Broncettes.

        In the final, the Brandon Harrison Hawks defeated the Minitonas Broncettes 43-15. The Hawks led 11-6 after one quarter and 26-7 at the half. Their dominance included a 24-0 run. Valerie Rollins paced the Hawks with 22. Brenda Earl added 8. Bernice Hart led the Broncettes with 4. Elda Hayes added 4.
