        In the quarterfinals, held in Portage, the 5th-seeded Altoona W.C. Miller Aces defeated the 4th-seeded Dauphin Clippers x-x. “we got into some foul trouble and didn’t play well,” Clippers coach Tom Schmidt told the Dauphin Herald. The Clippers (coached by Tom Schmidt) included Brad Day, George Muswaggon, Brian Fedirchuk, Bruce Keith, James Bonner.

        The 6th-seeded Teulon Saints stunned the 3rd-seeded Neepawa Tigers x-x. The Tigers included Allan Sneesby, Kent Thorkelson, Darren Roe.

        The top-seeded Killarney Raiders defeated the Portage La Prairie Pats x-x. The Pats included Raymond Pathe.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Steinbach Regional Sabres thrashed the 7th-seeded Flin Flon Kopper Kings 103-53 as Merv Voth scored 46.

        In the semis, the Teulon Saints clipped the 2nd-seeded Steinbach Regional Sabres 73-65.

        In the other semi, the top-seeded Killarney Raiders defeated the Altona Miller Aces x-x.

        In the bronze medal match, the 2nd-seeded Steinbach Regional Sabres defeated the Altona Miller Aces 97-62. The Aces (coached by John Klassen, assisted by Toni Braun) included Bruce Shultz, Terrance Voth, Pat Hiebert, Steve Voth, Jeff Hildebrand, Dave Schellenberg, Rob Peters, Doug Duell and Steve Bergman.

In the final, the 6th-seeded Teulon Saints defeated the top-seeded Killarney Raiders 50-49 as tournament MVP Geoff Kilpatrick scored 14 and Greg Good 13. Chris Hicks led Killarney with 13.
