In the quarterfinals, held in Como Lake, Nanaimo dusted the Como Lake Comets 40-23 as Joan McKnight scored 14, Donna Mitchell 12, Wilkinson 6, Sjoberg 4, Maureen Robson 2 and Ericksen 2. Margaret Penner led Como Lake with 19. Martin added 3 and Erickson 1, while Plummer, Robisin, Monette and Roberts were scoreless.
Cranbrook nipped South Burnaby 35-34 as Pat Brown hit the winner with two seconds to play. Maxine Choplen paced Cranbrook with 10. Kamloops edged Vancouver? Queen Elizabeth 19-17 as Fowles scored 7, Yamada 4, Allen 4, Tucker 2 and Kenward 2, while Schollen, Goto, Emerich, Thornley and Holt were scoreless. Whalley paced Queen Elizabeth with 7. Moleschi added 4, Andresen 2, Shirley Barden 2 and Donna Hope-Johnson 2, while Case, Nikanunik, Thrussell and Berg were scoreless.
In the last quarterfinal, Mission defeated Powell River by default because they were unable to attend as they were writing Easter exams.
In the semis, Nanaimo edged Cranbrook 38-36 as Donna Mitchell hit a hook in the final seconds. Mitchell paced Nanaimo with 10. Joan McKnight added 7, Wilkinson 7, Sjoberg 6, D Dalzell 3, Eriksen 3 and Dodge 2.
In the other semi, Mission defeated Kamloops x-x.
