In the quarterfinals, held in Salmo, the top-seeded Salmo Falcons defeated the 8th-seeded New Aiyansh/Ahousat Nisga’a Chieftains x-x.

        The 3rd-seeded West Vancouver Collingwood Cavaliers dispatched the 6th-seeded Rossland Royals x-x.

The 5th-seeded Burns Lake Lake District Lakers clipped the 4th-seeded Mill Bay Brentwood College 71-56 as Rachelle Van Zanten scored 33 and Tara Loseth 11. Brentwood College (coached by Clyde Ogilvie) included Philippa George, Rosanna Watson, Aoibhinn Grimes, Rachel Martin, H Walkley, Tanya Buziak, Karina Wickland, Sara Bailey, Sarah Davies-Long, Letitia Cameron, Debbie Sit, Alison Taylor, Anna Grimes and Leah Maathewson.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Agassiz Eagles crushed the 7th-seeded Enderby A.L. Fortune Falcons 77-46. The Falcons (coached by Ray Norstrom, manager Sheila Rozenberg) included Allison Treat, Marilyn Abel, Koreen Kaetler, Paola Konge, Alana Aylard, Jade Costley, Bonnie Fiala, Jen Slater and Jesse Rawluk.

In the semis, the Salmo Falcons dusted the Burns Lake Lake District lakers 75-46. Pam Mattman paced the Lakers with 13. Rachel Van Zanten added 10.

In the other semi, the West Vancouver Collingwood Cavaliers defeated the Agassiz Eables x-x.

        In the bronze medal match, the Burns Lake Lakes District Lakers defeated the Agassiz Eagles 60-58 as Pam Mattman scored 21 and Rachel Van Zanten 20. The Eagles included Joanne Kowalenko.

        In the final, the Salmo Falcons rebounded from their loss in the 1993 to final to thrash the West Vancouver Collingwood Cavaliers 46-17 behind the efforts of two-time tournament MVP Rosie Albert. Salmo’s victory gave the school one ‘AA’ title and an ‘A’ division crown. Rosie Albert paced the Falcons with 24. Falcons coach Tom Albert told The Province “we played great defence, no doubt about it. But we also only scored 46 points. That’s way below our average. Collingwood is a very good defensive team.”
