Captain Marisa Dwyer scored 23, while grade 11 forward Carlee Babcok notched 22. Senior guard Carey Stevens led Seaton with 18, including a trio from beyond the arc.         In the quarterfinals, the top-seeded Vancouver York House Tigers dumped the Nanaimo Wellington Wildcats 77-43 in a laugher. Some 11 Tigers hit the scoresheet. York House led 23-6 after one quarter and pulled away. Robyn Wilson led Tigers with 18. Point guard Lisa Tindle added 12. Alanna Booker led the Wildcats with 13.  The Wildcats also included Brittany Letham.

        The 6th-seed Kamloops Westsyde Whundas crushed the 3rd-seeded Vancouver Little Flower Academy Angels 81-69 led by the indefatigable play of guard Michelle Lowey. She finished with 31 points, including a trio from beyond the arc. Megan McGill added 13 and Alicia Noger 11. Little Flower led 11-8 after one quarter but the Whundas responded with a 13-2 run to take command. Little Flower remained in reach from the line, as they hit 30-37 on the night, while the Whundas were just 15-33. Senior Carolina Cannon led Little Flower with 35 points, including 20-21 from the line.

        The 4th-seeded Abbotsford Christian Knights edged the Vernon Clarence Fulton Maroons 59-53 as grade 11 guard Melanie Ingwersen took command in the final quarter, scoring 13 of her game-high 27 points. Kelsey Broersma added 11 for the Knights. Morgan Ashcroft paced Fulton with 22, including 16-19 from the line and a perfect 10-10 in the second half. Jasmin Arndt added 10. The Maroons (coached by Jim Inglis, assistant Bill Kirkland) also included Jessica Arndt, Megan Inglis, Danica Soros, Deanna Fester, Robyn Inglis, Ali Kirkland, Teagan Soros, Megan Annand, Melissa Gavin, Amy Johnstone, Kelsey Armour, Allison Culbert, (Carolyn Churchland?).

        In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Maple Ridge Westview Wildcats defeated the North Vancouver St. Thomas Aquinas Fighting Saints 45-35. The Wildcats took an early 22-8 lead and never looked back. They were paced by 6-1 forward Marisa Dwyers 20 points. Grade 11 teammate Carlee Babcock added 12. Senior guard Angela Aydon led St. Thomas Aquinas with 12.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Vancouver York House Tigers crushed the 4th-seeded Abbotsford Christian Knights 82-38. Some 12 Tigers hit the score sheet, led by grade 11 forward Robyn Wilson, who scored 24. Senior Sam Fashler added 10. York House led 14-6 after a quarter and 33-17 at the half. Grade 11 guard Melanie Ingwersen led Abbotsford Christian with 10.

        In the other semi, Kamloops Westsyde nipped the 2nd-seeded Maple Ridge Westview Wildcats 55-53 to earn coach Bob Bridges a shot at a second provincial title. He steered the Whundas to a crown in 1993. Westview took an early 10-2 lead but Westsyde rallied back to lead 47-36 in the final quarter before withstanding a furious Wildcats rally. The Wildcats missed a desperation three-pointer at the buzzer to win it. Westsyde got clutch foul shooting from guards Michelle Lowey and Nicole Sorennson, as well as post Meghan McGill to pull out the win. Point guard Lowey finished with 18 points. Sorenson led the way with 21. Leah Heys led Westview with 17, while Carlee Babcok added 15 and Marisa Dwyer 13.

        In the bronze medal match, the Maple Ridge Westview Wildcats whipped the Abbotsford Christian Knights 82-41 as Carlee Babcock scored 22, Marisa Dwyer 19 and Leah Heys 14. Grade 11 guard Melanie Ingwersen led Abby with 22.

        In the final, the Vancouver York House Tigers captured their third straight provincial title by walloping 6th-seed Kamloops Westsyde Whundas 91-50. York House double-teamed the Whundas with tenacity and generated a raft of turnovers off their full-court press. Westsyde took an early 12-11 lead but York House finally got on track, ripping off a 23-1 run to take a 47-20 lead at the half. Lisa Tindle led the Tigers with 24 points and repeated as tournament MVP. Robyn Wilson scored 23 and Sam Fashler 12. Michelle Lowey led Westsyde with 26, including 11 in the first half. Meghan McGill added 11.
