In the quarterfinals, the 4th-seeded Cardston Cougars dumped the 5th-seeded Lloydminster Barons 62-55 as Jackie Quinton scored 18 and Jamie Stewart 15. Yakubawski led Lloydminster with 10. The Barons also included Christine Crush.

        The 3rd-seeded Magrath Pandas dispatched the 6th-seeded Red Deer Camille J. Lerouge Voyageurs 65-37 as Patti Balderson scored 11 and Tanya Henry 10. Karen Watson led the Voyageurs with 14. Shari Lynn Unrau added 6. The Voyageurs also included Crystal Watmough, Cressie Huhn, Lisa Dahrouge, Lisa Lainchbury, Noree Claerhout.

        The 2nd-seeded Ardrossan Bisons whipped the 7th-seeded Beaverlodge Royals 81-43 as Cheri Travis scored 29. Friesen led the Royals with 24.

        In the last quarterfinal, the top-seeded Airdrie Bert Church Chargers dumped the 8th-seeded Morinville George H. Primeau Wolves 78-51. The Wolves included Froment, Casavant.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Airdrie Bert Church Chargers clipped the 4th-seeded Cardston Cougars 82-72 after leading 44-30 at the half. Erika Burt paced the Cougars with 16. Keri Walburger added 12.

        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Magrath Pandas defeated the 2nd-seeded Ardrossan Bisons 66-63 as Kris Anderson scored 29 and Patti Balderson 13. The Pandas led 29-25 at the half and took command in the second half when Anderson nailed a trey to give them a late five-point lead.

        In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Cardston Cougars dispatched the 2nd-seeded Ardrossan Bisons 83-77 as Kerri Walburger scored 29 and Ann Tailfeathers 14. Connie Kruger led the Bisons with 35. Cheri Travis added 23. The Cougars led 38-33 at the half.

        In the final, held in Grande Prairie, the top-seeded Airdrie Bert Church Chargers defeated the 3rd-seeded Magrath Pandas 71-58 as Kari Gallup scored 37, including 24 in the first half. Erin Eldridge added 18. With the win, the Chargers completed a 3A double for the school, as the boys also won the title. The Chargers finished (36-2) on the season. On the tournament, Gallup scored 101 points in three games. The Chargers led 42-27 at the half. Patti Balderson and Tiffany Leavitt each scored 13 to pace the Pandas.
