In the quarterfinals, the Lethbridge Catholic Central Cittens dumped the Edmonton Archbishop MacDonald Marauders 65-50 as Dawn Fry scored 18. The Marauders (coached by Ron Kutney) included Eva McCarger, Teri Anheliger, Ann Macdonald, Toni Kordic, Shauna Senger, Cheryl Senger.

        The Brooks Buffaloes clipped the Grande Prarie Totems 44-37. The Totems (coached by Jan Nicholson) included Lynn Kildaw, Sandra Hawkes, Carrie Zelko.

        The Calgary Springbank Phoenix whipped Calgary Queen Elizabeth Knights 41-24.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Camrose Trojanettes crushed the Grand Centre Royals 58-40.

        In the semis, the Lethbridge Catholic Central Cittens crushed the Brooks Buffaloes 63-45 as Romina Feher scored 16. The Buffaloes (coached by Patrick Williams) included Sheila Hirch, Caroline Sweep, Sue Hargraves, Sherrie Schalm, Pat Hufnagel, Kathy Lester.

        In the other semi, the Calgary Springbank Phoenix clipped the Camrose Trojanettes 56-46.

        In the bronze medal match, the Camrose Trojanettes dusted the Brooks Buffaloes 62-39.

In the final, the Lethbridge Catholic Central Cittens defeated the Calgary Springbank Phoenix 63-41 as Dori Rodzinyak scored 18, Dawn Fry 16 and Caroline Ambrozic 14. The Cittens led 42-18 at the half and shot 57% from the field. “Romina Feher and Kathy Kinahan both rebounded exceptionally well,” Cittens coach Cal O’Brien told the Lethbridge Herald. ‘And the bench played well, especially Dee Martin and Sherry Kropmark.”
