        In the final, the 3rd-seeded Cochrane Cobras stunned the top-seeded Okotoks Holy Trinity Knights 81-77 as Julian Marchand scored 37, Kelly Broadhurst 14, John Bender 10, Chad Bobier 9, Rob Cote 5, Orin Doneff 4 and Bryan Hennessey 2. Simon paced Holy Trinity with 22. John Forzani added 12, Mark Deswart 12, Alex Conrad 11, Paul Power 11, Thomas Pearson 7 and Scott Thiry 2. Cochrane took a 45-30 lead at the break as Marchand scored 19 in the first half. Trinity rallied to take the lead with five minutes to play but Cochrane prevailed down the stretch. Simon Doty hit six treys in a losing cause. Marchand hit five treys for the victors. Cochrane guard Julian Marchand told the Lethbridge Herald that “it was very nerve-wracking. I think what helped us what when I called a timeout, against our coach’s wishes, and we were able to regroup and slow the game down. We just never gave up.” After blowing a 16-point lead and trailing by five, Marchand hit a putback off his own missed trey to knot the score at 77. He then added three free throws to help the Cobras pull out the win.
