        In the quarterfinals, the 3rd-seeded Ponoka Broncs defeated the 6th-seed Sherwood Park Archbishop Jordan Scots 81-70.

        The 2nd-seeded Edmonton Austin O’Brien Crusaders, riding a high as it entered the tournament having just defeated 4-A school Edmonton Archbishop O’Leary for the Edmonton Metro premier league title, dumped the 10th-seeded Stettler William E. Hay Wildcats 81-49. The Wildcats included Bryce Leschert, Justin Stevens, Cody Rowledge.

        The top-seeded Calgary Springbank Phoenix whipped the 9th-seed Spruce Grove St. Thomas Aquinas Thunder 78-54.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Okotoks Holy Trinity Knights nipped the 5th-seed Edmonton St. Joseph’s Saints 80-77.

        In the semis, the Edmonton Austin O’Brien Crusaders defeated the Ponoka Broncs 69-50.

        In the other semi, the Calgary Springbank Phoenix dumped the Okotoks Holy Trinity Knights 75-63.

        In the bronze medal match, the Okotoks Holy Trinity Knights defeated the Ponoka Broncs 77-64. The Broncs included Danny Smith, Trevor Topham.

        In the final, the 2nd-seeded Edmonton Austin O’Brien Crusaders defeated the top-seeded Calgary Springbank Phoenix 78-75 on the three-point shooting of Carm Restauro. He had but one trey and four points in the first half, which Austin O’Brien led 39-36. But the 5-8 guard hit 7-9 from beyond the arc in the second half, to finish with 28 points as the Crusaders captured the title. “Ever since I rolled my ankle early in the season, I’ve been shooting more. I’ve been hot lately,” Restauro told the Edmonton Journal. “My coach told me to keep shooting. I believe in myself and everyone believes in me.” The Crusaders fell behind 47-39 in the second half when Restauro stemmed the bleeding with a three at 5:50 in the third quarter. He pulled O’Brien ahead 56-55 with another three and snapped a 58-58 tie at 14:00 with the first of four consecutive bombs from beyond the arc. Springbank rallied behind a pair of three-pointers by A.K. Kazalauskas to rally within five with a minute to play. They narrowed it to one when Kazalauskas converted a steal and Levi Selk hit a bucket off an intercepted pass. But the Crusaders iced it at the line when Kyle Saban hit a pair from the charity stripe. Kazalauskas desperation three at the buzzer to tie it bounced off the rim.
