The Calgary Bowness Trojans dusted the Calgary Springbank Phoenix 57-35 as Peter Olson scored 20. Perry Pouropot (Poropat?) led the Phoenix with 9. The Phoenix (coach Todd Williams, assistant Scott Daw) also included Rob Reynolds, Alex McCorquindale, Tom Albertson, Coby Beek, Mike Derochie, Mike Daw, Craig Lehto and Don Menzies.

The Sherwood Park Archbishop Jordan Scots crushed the Camrose Trojans 85-55 as Cliff Rowein scored 20 and Chris Sowiec (Siwak?) 20. Brian Czapp paced the Trojans with 24. The Trojans also included Curtis Shopland, Kevin Stang, Scott Davies, Darren McDermid, John Young, David Pilger, Stu Strachan and Brian Czapp.

In the last quarterfinal, the Medicine Hat Crescent Heights Vikings whipped the Spirit River Spartans 80-33 as Doug Schieman scored 12. Doug Keebler led the Spartans with 11.

       In the semis, the Calgary Bowness Trojans dusted the Claresholm Willow Creek Cobras 55-39.

       In the other semi, the Sherwood Park Archbishop Jordan Scots defeated the Medicine Hat Crescent Heights Vikings 61-59 as Cliff Rowein hit a pair of free throws with seven seconds to play. Rowein paced the Scots with 18. Darren Oltmanns added 17. The Vikings led 36-27 at the half. Hal Tagg paced the Vikings with 16. Terry Zachary added 13.

       In the bronze medal match, the Medicine Hat Crescent Heights Vikings dumped the Claresholm Willow Creek Cobras 52-42 (or 59-49, according to the Medicine Hat News). Byron Draudson led the Vikings with 18. Barry Baker led the Cobras with 23. The Cobras led 30-27 at the half. The Cobras also included David Schuler, Dan Hartfelder, Ryan Milligan, Mike Fisher, Doug Presky, David Massie, Tom Slovak, Lance Tolley, Ed Patterson and Brad Everett.

       In the final, the Calgary Bowness Trojans defeated the Sherwood Park Archbishop Jordan Scots 63-49 as Peter Olson scored 22. Troans coach Daun Daum told the Calgary Herald that “it was probably the best game we’ve had all year. A couple of boys – Olson and Darryl Lang – certainly played the best game of their high school careers.”
