        The top-seeded Foremost Forettes whacked the Carbon Raiders 72-33 as Michelle Hougen scored 19 and Jenna Kultgen 15. Alexandra Daverne led Carbon with 12. Britni Joyal added 8.

        The Edmonton Parkland Immanuel Christian Penguins crushed the 4th-seeded Ryley Rebels 72-41 as Suzanne DeHaas scored 22 and Rhonda Stiksma 14. Courtney Tkaczyk led Ryley with 22. Ashley Beattie added 10.

        In the gold medal match, the top-seeded Foremost Forettes defeated the 2nd-seeded Marwayne Jubilee Wildcats 61-51 to capture their fourth provincial title in five years. Jenna Kultgen and Michelle Hougen each scored 20 to pace the Forettes. “We played good defence but didn’t shot well at all,” coach Glen Magneson told the Lethbridge Herald. “Marwayne was ready for us, but we weren’t going to let it slip away.” The Forettes finished (33-6) on the campaign.
