The Sylvan Lake H.G. Cody Lakers defeated the Forestburg Falcons 35-27 as Laura Swainson scored 18 and Cathy Grimson 7. Trudy Adams led the Falcons with 6. Cheryl Oberg added 6. The Falcons also included Janet Bunny.
The Redwater Renegades nipped the Cremona Cougars 25-23 as Marjorie Clark scored 6, Lynn Nicoll 6 and Jean McClennon 6. Cathy Bardgett paced the Cougars wit h10. Brenda Good added 5. The Cougars also included Nelda Good, Lillian Bird.
In the last quarterfinal, Cereal clipped Ridge Valley 37-30 as Sherry Rudy scored 10. Laura Jantz paced Ridge Valley with 12.
In the semis, the Lundbreck Livingstone Sabres nipped Cereal 23-22 as Lorna Williams scored 12 and Susan Davis 11. Sherry Rudy paced Cereal with 8.
In the other semi, the Sylvan Lake H.G. Cody Lakers dispatched the Redwater Renegades 33-27 as Kathy Grimson scored 12 and Pat Priel 9. Lynn Nicoll led the Renegades with 9. Arlene Kapach added 7.
There is no evidence of bronze medal match being played.
In the final, Lundbreck Livingstone Sabres edged the Sylvan Lake H.G. Cody Lakers 36-33 after leading 11-6, 22-17 and 29-25 at the quarters. Susan Davis notched the winning points with five minutes to play. Lorna Williams paced the Sabres with 11. Davis added 8 and Faye Reners 7. Laura Swainson paced the Lakers with 10. Pat Priel added 10.
