        The top-seeded Stirling Lakers eliminated the 9th-seeded Crooked Creek Ridgevalley Raiders 88-60 as Lloyd Strickland scored 16 and Dallin Ellingson 12. Tyler Penner led Ridgevalley with 13. Logan Pellerin added 9.

        The 3rd-seeded Glendon Nobles clobbered the 11th-seeded Westlock St. Mary’s Sharks 59-30 as Michael Krywiak scored 21 and Winston Bridges 15. Nate DaCunha led the Sharks with 16. Adam Esch added 7.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Foremost Falcons edged the 7th-seeded New Norway Spartans 73-71 as Brent Lee scored 22 and Jay Rasmussen 18. Austin Bruere led New Norway with 19. Graham Graff added 18.

        In the semis, the 2nd-seeded Foremost Falcons nipped the 3rd-seeded Glendon Nobles 55-54 as Sam Dykshoorn scored 30 and Jay Rasmussen 8. Michael Krywiak and Winston Bridges each scored 20 to pace Glendon.

        In the other semi, the top-seeded Stirling Lakers defeated the 4th-seeded Hay Lakes Tigers 82-67.

        In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded Glendon Nobles defeated the 4th-seeded Hay Lakes Tigers 57-42 as Michael Krywiak scored 24 and Winston Bridges 12. Matt Wolyshyn led Hay Lakes with 10. Jason Zinten added 6. Hay Lakes took an early 12-3 lead but the Nobles quickly took command as they began hitting their perimeter jumpers and romped.

        In the final, the Stirling Lakers defeated the Foremost Falcons 63-57 as Travis Strickland scored 34 and Brayden Edwards 16. Sam Dyskhoorn led the Falcons with 19. Brent Lee added 13. Strickland is “a pretty talented player,” Lakers coach Chad Watson told the Lethbridge Herald. “He’s the guy we look to when we need to make a shot but we got contributions from all over for this. All tournament long, everybody stepped up. Us and Foremost is always a pretty

tough battle. But we played really well.”
