My girls are committed to getting better and they want to get better. They really do understand that there are players out there that are better than them and they need to continue to grow and get better.” Arizona-State bound Isidora Purkovic said “it’s an amazing feeling to be both city and provincial champions in the same year and now we’re two-time provincial champions as well. It’s a little sweeter to repeat, but it’s still as exciting as the first time. We had really good team chemistry and we all got along really well. There were a bunch of us who have been playing together for a while now and we were all motivated to do really well this year.” University of Alberta-bound Madeleine Rogers said “it was pretty cool because our whole, entire team bought into the idea of working as a team and playing together. We have a couple of really talented players on our team, but we also had a lot of people that were willing to sacrifice their time and give energy to the team, which really helped us along. It really helped that our bench was so lively. It kept us going.” Madeleine Rogers paced the Redmen with 20.
