The Calgary Crescent Heights Cowboys dispatched the Red Deer Lindsay Thurber Raiders 52-43. The Raiders included Diane Macdonald, Bev Burdick, Brenda Chapman, Pearl Johnston, Bev Luke.
The Leduc Tar Babies defeated the Calgary William Aberhart Trojans 49-42. The Trojans included Maureen Harper, Bonnie Craigie, Debbie Haight.
In the last quarterfinal, the Edmonton Bonnie Doon Lancers dumped the Medicine Hat Co-eds 43-23.
In the semis, the Calgary Crescent Heights Cowboys defeated the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute Clipper Queens 39-31. The Clipper Queens included Marie Knox.
In the other semi, the Leduc Tar Babies defeated the Edmonton Bonnie Doon Lancers 41-32.
There is no evidence that a bronze medal match was played.
In the final, the Calgary Crescent Heights Cowboys defeated the Leduc Tar Babies 60-39. The Cowboys led 24-21 at the half. Joan Blight paced the Cowboys with 21. Doreen Wazynick added 15. Judy MacGregor paced the Tigers with 17.
