In the quarterfinals, held in Edmonton, the Barrhead Lorne Jenken Gryphons clipped the Edmonton Ross Shepherd Thunderbirds 33-23 as Doreen Withage scored 13 and Marge Hawkey 11. Marg Ferguson led the Thunderbirds with 14.

The Lethbridge Catholic Central Kittens dispatched the Red Deer Lindsay Thurber Raiders 35-24 as Lynnette Maynard scored 9 and Bev Kosowick 6. Bev Luke paced the Raiders (coached by Marg Brandenburg) with 8. Brenda Champman added 7 and Sharon Bohn 4.

The Edmonton St. Joseph’s Saints edged the Wetaskiwin Sabres 33-29 as Liz Szkorupa scored 17 and Lil Stefure 8. Eleanor Olson paced the Sabres with 12. Marlene Reinsch 9

In the last quarterfinal, the Edmonton Victoria Redmen defeated Medicine Hat 40-33 as Marg Lima scored 12 and Sandy Gordon 7. Shirley Freeman led Medicine Hat with 11.

In the semis, the Barrhead Lorne Jenken Gryphons nipped the Edmonton Victoria Redmen 35-31.

In the other semi, the Lethbridge Catholic Central Kittens dusted the Edmonton St. Joseph’s Saints 47-27.

There is no evidence that a bronze medal match was played.

        In the final, the Barrhead Lorne Jenken Gryphons dispatched the Lethbridge Catholic Central Kittens 38-26 as Doreen Withage scored 14.
