In the quarterfinals of a five-team, one-day provincial draw held in Wrentham, the Barrhead Cubettes clipped the Medicine Hat Co-eds 38-22. The Co-Eds (coached by Barbara Beaton) included Mary Louise Flaig, Grace Hashizume, Arlene Wame, Donna Grant, Tilly Schipper, Jane Green, Johnene LaMarsh, Marjorie Grant, Trudy Beaton and Shirley Brown.
In the semis, the Barrhead Cubettes defeated the Red Deer Composite (now Lindsay Thurber) Raiders 37-29 as Lee scored 12, Lucas 10, Kurt 10, Cayford 3 and Hobbs 2.
