        The top-seeded Lethbridge Immanuel Christian Eagles stomped the 8th-seeded La Crete Lancers 83-47 as Michelle Nieuwenhuis scored 22, Kim Veldman 21 and Kristen Kilestra 10. Shannyk Schellenberg paced the Lancers with 22. Sheila Schellenberg added 17. The Lancers also included Shauna Teichroeb.

        The 6th-seeded Standoff Kainai Warriors crushed the 3rd-seeded Rimbey Spartans 66-48 as Tressa Yellow Horn scored 19 and Constance Day Chief 16. Lauren Loyek led the Spartans with 17. Jelayne Dubielew added 16. The Spartans (coached by Tim Lekas) also included Ariel Lekas, Jessica Foley, Lindsay Gammie, Alysha Trautman, Becky McElroy, Kate Van Ankum, Courtney Loyek and Annika Palm.

        In the last quarterfinal, the 2nd-seeded Hanna J.C. Charyk Hawks massacred the 7th-seeded Calgary Christian Cougars 78-39 as Spencer Lockhart scored 24 and Shelby Ross 13. Julia Verhoeff paced the Cougars with 11 and Brianna McLeod added 8. The Cougars (coached by Mike Campbell) also included Elena Groen.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Lethbridge Immanuel Christian Eagles clipped the 4th-seeded Daysland Darls 84-58 as Michelle Nieuwenhuis scored 25, Megan Groenenboom 15, Kristen Kielstra 14, Kim Veldman 14 and Larissa Von Keman 11. Taryn Story led the Darls with 22. Lauren Story added 15 and Kristin Hanrahan 14. “Winning the provincials has been a goal of ours since last year,” Eagles coach Wendy Procee told the Lethbridge Herald. “Last year Daysland put us into the third-place game and we wanted a little bit of payback. They are a very well coached team and they’ve got excellent shooters.” The Eagles led 22-17, 43-31 and 65-47 at the quarters. The Eagles 1-2-2 halfcourt zone kept the Darls well beyond the arc, while they easily broke the Darls for runout layups.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Hanna J.C. Charyk Hawks dumped the 6th-seeded Standoff Kainai Warriors 68-53 as Spencer Lockhart scored 17 and Robin Morlock 14. Quincy Delaney-Russell led the Warriors with 15. Tressa Yellow Horn added 12.

        In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Daysland Darls defeated the 6th-seeded Standoff Kainai Warriors 61-55 as Taryn Story scored 31 and Lauren Story 19. Tressa Yellow Horn led the Warriors with 20. Quincy Delaney-Russell added 15.

        In the final, the top-seeded Lethbridge Immanuel Christian Eagles dumped the 2nd-seeded Hanna J.C. Charyk Hawks 57-40 as Kim Veldman scored 16, Michelle Nieuwenhuis 13 and Meagan Groenenboom 10. Jillian Knauft paced the Hawks with 11. Robyn Morlock added 8 and Alana Wade 7. The Eagles led 12-10, 28-19 and 45-27 at the quarters. “I’m just so proud of these girls,” Eagles head coach Wendy Procee told the Lethbridge Herald. “Everything came together. The point that I’d like to make is that we have such a deep team.” Eagles wing Kristen Kielstra said ““I’m ecstatic, I don’t even know

what to do with myself right now. It’s been building up for three years. First year we were knocked out in the zones. Last year, we finished third in provincials. We won because our team is amazing. We don’t get down on each other. When

somebody makes a mistake, we pick them up. I don’t know what to do. I just want to scream.” Hawks coach Rick Haines said “they just shot it better than we did.”
