Strathmore Samuel Crowther stomped the Spirit River Spartans 79-16 as Francine Melting Tallow scored 17, Leslie Fedorak 17 and Kelly Van Kleef 11. Geneva Glover led the Spartans with 8.
The Milk River Erle Rivers Novas defeated the Glenmary Saints 64-59 as Rhonda Wensman scored 21, Rhonda Peterson 20 and Ina Baczuk 14. Maureen Macleod led the Saints with 18. Carolyn Archibald added 16.
In the last quarterfinal, the Ashmont Falcons nipped the Delburne Trojanettes 45-42 as Delane Huber scored 14. Lisa Christensen led the Trojanettes with 13. Lynn Glover added 8. The Trojanettes also included Dianna Martens, Brenda Brewster.
In the semis, the Raymond Comets defeated the Strathmore Samuel Crowther x 56-54 as Cheryl Bohne scored 12, Lori Plontke 10, Tammy Sheen 10 and Terri Anderson 10. Rina Rommens led Crowther with 14. Leslie Fedorak added 13.
In the other semi, the Milk River Erle Rivers Novas dispatched the Ashmont Falcons 67-33 as Rhonda Wensman scored 30 and Rhonda Peterson 13. Helen Palmquist paced the Falcons with 9. Crystal Onofrechuk added 8.
In the bronze medal match, the Strathmore Samuel Crowther x defeated the Ashmont Falcons 72-55 as Francine Melting Tallow scored 25 and Leslie Fedorak 20. Lillian Schulz led the Falcons with 18. Helen Palmquist added 14.
In the final, the Raymond Comets defeated the Milk River Erle Rivers Novas 42-37 to capture their second consecutive provincial title. Cheryl Bohne paced the Comets with 11. Terri Anderson added 10. The Comets led 22-13 at the half. Rhona Wensman led the Novas with 15. Ina Baczuk added 10.
