        In the last quarterfinal, the Viking Norsewomen nipped the Grande Prairie St. Joseph’s Ceinahs 48-47. The Ceinahs led by 14 at the start of the four quarter but both Louise Borle and Marilyn Scheuhage were injured in the final frame, while Mary Hof fouled out. Ceinahs coach Patrick McDonald told the Grande Prairie Herald Tribune that “we were at least 30 points better than any team there and if not for the unfortunate breaks in that first game, we would have won it.” The Ceinahs (coached by McDonald) also included Mona Borle, Theresa Wynia, Hazel McPhee, Brenda Czibere, JoAnne Borle, Edith Kloberdanz and Shelly Martineau.
