Picture Butte led 56-34 at the half and 78-58 after three quarters. Dynos coach Jeff Messom said “the guys saved their best basketball for the last time of the year. We played the style of basketball we have been wanting to play, intense, aggressive in your face. I was told one of the college scouts mentioned that it would be the fire power of Picture Butte versus the intensity of Drumheller in the final. … Our Grade 12 players all stepped up, whether it was the pace set by Tyler Fournier, or the marksmanship shooting by Will Belliveau and Tyson Anderson, or the Defensive play of Matt Mohan, blocking shots and Grading boards. Our success this year and the previous year has always been the total team effort. As a team in the last two years we are 76 and 12. With two league Championships, 2 South Central Zone Championships, a Bronze Medal and now a Silver Medal. This is a pretty special group of not only players, but young men.” Logan Reiter paced Picture Butte with 37.
