In the quarterfinals, held in Devon, the host Devon John Maland Wildcats defeated the Nanton J.T. Foster Knights 72-67. The Knights (coached by Allen Gallup) included Jamie Mulholland, Glen Walker, Gavin Smith, Hakun Trinh, Kin Trinh.

The Calgary Chestermere Cowboys clipped the Edmonton Christian Lions 62-55.

The Rimbey Spartans dusted the Bonnyville Roadrunners 89-69 as Mike Prescott scored 27, Ed Furst 16, Tom Noble 12, Ian Christensen 12 and Trevor Coulter 10.

In the last quarterfinal, the Spirit River Spartans pounded the Edmonton J.H. Picard Pumas 75-55, despite trailing 44-35 at the half. Spartans coach Tom Dirsa told the Grande Prairie Herald Tribune that in the second half, “suddenly everything started going in.”

In the semis, the Calgary Chestermere Cowboys clocked  the Spirit River Spartans 94-66 after leading 48-38 at the half. Spartans coach Tom Dirsa said “they’re a good ball club. They took a lead and we went into a thing where he couldn’t hit a barn door from inside the barn.”.

In the other semi, the Devon John Maland Wildcats whipped the Rimbey Spartans 84-61. Mike Prescott paced the Spartans with 20. Tom Noble added 12.

In the bronze medal match, the Spirit River Spartans crushed the Rimbey Spartans 103-79 as Dennis Backer scored 46. The Spartans led 57-49 at the half. Backer “had a career in that one,” Spartans coach Tom Dirsa told the Grande Prairie Herald Tribune. Tom Noble paced Rimbey with 22. Mike Prescott added 20 and Darren Tona 12. Rimbey (coached by Duncan Prescott) also included Ian Christensen, Ed Furst, Trevor Coulter, Paul Bresnahan, Darvin Harden, Lori Hay, Allan Moore, Rob Tenhove and Kevin Clark.

In the final, the Calgary Chestermere Cowboys defeated the Devon John Maland Wildcats 79-54.
