Sugar Kings’ coach Hank Heerze told the Lethbridge Herald that the win was a “great way to finish it off” for his five senior starters. “I’m sure the competition in the Southwest Zone prepares most teams a lot more for provincials. It definitely helps any representative that comes out of the South.”
