In the quarterfinals, held in Picture Butte, the host Picture Butte Sugar Kings thrashed Fairview 74-48. Fairview included V Gunther.

        The Sedgewick Central Rams clipped Vermilion 45-31.

        The Edmonton Concordia College Mustangs dumped the Delburne Trojans 54-43 as Robert Coon scored 19 and Joshua Borger 18. Jim Johnson led the Trojans with 14. Alvin Craig added 12. “We just played terrible,” Trojans coach Rod Smith told the Red Deer Advocate. “There are no excuses. If we play at all, we win.” Delburne led 12-11 after one quarter. The Mustangs led 23-20 at the half and 44-30 after three quarters. The Trojans also included Terry Bowd, Darrel Whittemore, Mike Matthews, Alan Zak.

        In the last quarterfinal, Bow Island crushed the Calgary Springbank Phoenix 43-27. The Phoenix included Dave Neuman, Peter Bannister.

        In the semis, the Picture Butte Sugar Kings spanked the Edmonton Concordia College Mustangs 71-48.

        In the other semi, the Sedgewick Central Rams defeated Bow Island 46-38.

        In the bronze medal match, the Edmonton Concordia College Mustangs clipped Bow Island 70-58 as Joshua Borger scored 33.

In the final, the Picture Butte Sugar Kings defeated the Sedgewick Central Rams 49-41. Brian Lang paced the Rams with 28.
