        The Nobleford Noble Central Blades eliminated the Claresholm Brahmas 53-31. The Brahmas (coached by D.W. Sullivan) included Lester Matt, Dennis Francis, Bernie Sparkes, Gord Olmstead, Bill Hunt, ElRay Stanford, Chuck Braren, Allan Mouser, Gib Challand and Glen Gorham.

        In the semis, the Cardston St. Mary’s Blood Reserve Warriors defeating the Stirling Lakers 64-62 in double overtime. The score was knotted at 58 after regulation and at 62 after the first overtime. Cyril Red Crow notched the winner on a runout layup in the extra session. Lawrence Plain and Cyril Red Crow each scored 16 to pace the Warriors. Leroy Heavyrunner added 14 and Lawrence Panther Bone 13. Myron Eaves and Dick Herget each scored 15 to pace the Lakers. Gerry Schnoor added 14 and R Hardy 12. Lakers star Richard Nelson missed most of the game after tearing a knee ligament in the first quarter.

        In the final, the Cardston St. Mary’s Blood Reserve Warriors dumped the Coaldale Gophers 54-49 as Horace Red Crow scored 16, Lawrence Plain 12, Norbert Fox 10, Lawrence Panther Bone 8, Cyril Red Crow 6 and Leroy Heavyrunner 2.
