The first provincial high school league was formed including all provincial normal schools and high schools.

In the four-team Southern League, the Raymond School of Agriculture Aggies and Cardston Cougars each finished with a single loss. But the Aggies had won by 19 at home, while the Cardston had won by 17 on its home court. The league rules states that “in the event of two teams winning an equal number of games, the team securing the majority of points were to be declared the winners.” The league also included the Raymond Comets and Lethbridge High.

In the provincial final, the Edmonton Victoria Composite Redmen edged the Raymond School of Agriculture Aggies 33-31 after leading 23-19 at the half. Bryner led the Redmen with 12. Fisher added 8, Weaver added 6, Allen 4 and Dahl 1. Strong led the Aggies with 16. Jeffrey added 9, Christensen 6 and Rolfson 2, while Lund was scoreless.
