        In the semis, the Dawson Blues stunned the previously undefeated Montmorency Nomades 72-69 in overtime as 6-1 forward Lizanne Murphy scored 19. Montmorency, who had only lost one game all year, to the Universite de Laval, was led by 6-2 center Marian Fortier scored 22. Montmorency had a chance to force overtime but a desperation trey bounced off the rim at the buzzer. “We had the ball in the hands of one of my best shooters, and it could easily have gone down,” said coach Guillaume Giroux.

        In the other semi, the Ste-Foy Dynamiques clipped the Édouard Montpetit Lynx 66-50.

        In the bronze medal match, the Montmorency Nomades defeated the Édouard-Montpetit Lynx x-x as Marian Fortier scored 28. The Lynx (coached by Jacques Verschuere)

        In the final, the Dawson Blues defeated the Ste-Foy Dynamiques 77-65 as Lizanne Murphy scored 16.

        After the season, Mirielle Beland left Vanier to become coach of the Basketball Centre of Excellence in Levis, hear Quebec City. Beland came to Vanier in 1993, after a four-year stint as an assistant coach at McGill University. She was twice named CEGEP Triple-A coach of the year (1998 and 2000) and was honoured as Canadian collegiate coach of the year in 1998.
