In the semis, the regular season champ John Abbott Lady Islanders dusted the Dawson Blues 69-31.

In the other semi, the Ahuntsic Indiennes defeated the Champlain-Lennoxville Cougars 68-41. The Indiennes dominated the paint and outmuscled the Cougars.

In the final, the John Abbott Lady Islanders thrashed the Ahuntsic Indiennes 66-44. Rookie coach Lisen Moore told the Montreal Gazette that “it’s a good beginning towards our ultimate objective: a national crown.” The Islanders were playing without leading scorer Christine Ferron, hobbled by an ankle injury. But Tracey Hayman stepped up to fill the void, neutralizing the physical Indiennes in the paint. Moore called the win a team effort. “People like Cathy Millar, Mylisa Henderson, Brigitte Edwards, Vanessa Soungie, Christine Ferron and Sylvia Corbett have been the core that kept us together all year.” The Islanders led 34-28 at the half but quickly broke it open in the second half. Cathy Millar and Brigitte Edwards each scored 16. Tracy Hayman added 10. Isabelle Tetreault led Ahuntsic with 15. Isabelle Desrochers added 14.
