        In the semis, the John Abbott Lady Islanders defeated the Ahuntsic Indiennes 48-43.

        In the other semi, the Dawson Blues defeated the Vanier Cheetahs 78-64. The Cheetahs were within two with two minutes to play when Dawson took command. “Vanier really gave us a scare there for a while,” Blues coach Rocco Buono told the Montreal Gazette.
