In the semis, the John Abbott Lady Islanders defeated the Ahuntsic Indiennes 48-43.
In the other semi, the Dawson Blues defeated the Vanier Cheetahs 78-64. The Cheetahs were within two with two minutes to play when Dawson took command. “Vanier really gave us a scare there for a while,” Blues coach Rocco Buono told the Montreal Gazette.

In the final, the Dawson Blues swamped the John Abbott Lady Islanders 77-51. Islanders coach Chris Hunter told the Montreal Gazette “there was disappointment of course. We would have liked to have shown a little better. I think we’re a better ball club than we showed today.” Tournament MVP Julieth Lewis dominated the floor, scoring 30 and grabbing 19 boards. “Lewis is a just a superior athlete to anyone we had. When we tired down toward the stretch. She kept getting stronger and stronger.” Dawson led 37-30 early in the second half before Lewis took total command. Carole McIntyre led John Abbott with 16.
