        The Montreal Star reported the semis as Vanier edging John Abbott 93-91 as Tom Kappos scored 28 and Mark Vicker 27. Chris Hunter led the Islanders with 30.

        In the Montreal final, the Dawson Blues clocked the Vanier Cheetahs 98-82 as John Hunter scored 22, Pat Adrien 21, Ivor Lewis 20, Dave Thornhill 17 and Varouj Gurunlian s12. Tom Kappos paced the Cheetahs with 31. Mark Vickers added 18 and Brad Muir 14.

        In the provincial? semi, Champlain-Lennoxville stunned the top-seeded Vanier Cheetahs 98-82 as John Hunter scored 22, Pat Adrian 21 and Ivor Lewis 20. Tom Kappos paced the Cheetahs (coached by Ed Maher) with 31. Mark Vickers added 18 and Brad Muir 14.

        In the provincial final, the Dawson Blues defeated the Champlain Cougars 124-89 as John Hunter scored 21, Pat Adrien 17 and tournament MVP Ivor Lewis 16. Steve Dowd led the Cougars with 33.
