In the Montreal north division finals, Rosemount clipped the previously undefeated Dawson Blues 80-65 as Pierre Benoit scored 33. Rosemount’s 2-3 zone befuddled Dawson. George Phee led the Blues with 25. Winston Bradshaw added 15, Willie Follette 6. The Blues (playing coach Jack Maynor) also included Arim Kassabian.
In the Montreal south division final, Maisonneuve clocked Edouard Montpetit 94-52.
