In the semis, the Douglas Royals defeated the Capilano Blues 86-42 as Mirjana Jurcic scored 23. Trish McDonald and Kelly Payne each scored 10 to pace the Blues.

In the other semi, the Langara Falcons dumped the Thompson Rivers Sun Demons 57-35 as Sue McPherson scored 16 and Leah Ellis 15. Jackie Lacasse paced the Sun Demons with 10. Shona Imlah added 8. The Sun Demons (coached by Russ Chambers) included Tracy Graf, Leanne Cowell, Shona Imlah, Nancy Shea, Beth Somers, Jackie MacLean, Susan Chorlton, Debbie Gray and Jackie Lacasse.

        In the final, the Langara Falcons stomped the Douglas Royals 65-44. Tourney MVP Mirjana Jurcic scored 18 to lead the Royals. Royal Karen Minato told The Other Press that “we went into the game thinking we could win.”
