        In the final, the top-seeded Vancouver Island Mariners whipped the 3rd-seeded Capilano Blues 94-77 to capture their third consecutive crown and 4th in nine years. “This one’s special,” said Mariners coach Matt Kuzminski.  “The togetherness of this team made it special and different from the last couple of years.” The score was knotted at 22 after one quarter and at 40 at the half. The Mariners led 72-56 after three quarters. Mariners guard Bryson Cox was chosen player of the game. Tournament MVP Usama Zaid paced the Mariners with 24 on 8-20 from the floor, 3-10 from the arc, 5-6 from the line, 7 boards, 3 assists and 2 steals.
